July 1st, 2012 – ALL OUT SERVICE

Jun 30, 2012

SUNDAY, JULY 1st ALL OUT @ God’s Little Acre. One of the great strengths of being a little church, aside from the depth of community, is flexibility. Approximately once a month our church does not meet in our usual venue. Instead, we express our worship out in the world by finding a way of serving others. We call this our ALL OUT SERVICE. This Summer our 3 All Outs will be at God’s Little Acre, land farmed by Jas Singh in order to raise food for the hungry. This regularity will allow us to deepen our connection with Jas as well as encourage him in these very early (and therefore somewhat daunting!) days of bringing a vision to pass.

During our last All Out at God’s Little Acre, we had a wonderful time. The children pitched in with gusto and even the little ones found ways of helping. Let’s meet @ 9:30 in the fields so that we can do as much as we can for Jas before noon. The address is 16582 40th Ave. There are big electric gates which will be open — drive on in and we’ll head to the field together.

P.S. — It is Adam’s b-day that day, so give him a big hug when you see him:)

We had so much fun today – so glad we ignored our colds and came out.
