Southpoint News – Week of November 24th, 2019
ALL IN & Potluck
There will be a potluck held after our ALL IN service this Sunday! Everyone is welcome! Please bring food to share!
Do you enjoy a doppelbock on a cool fall evening? Do you wonder how plants known as hops go from grain to the grail? Do you avoid the flavor of the ale at all costs because you find it tastes like rotten grass in the middle of August?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we’ve got an event for you. On Sunday, December 1st Southpoint men are heading to Parallel 49 Brewing Company for a tour of one of the finest brewing establishments in the lower mainland.
Love it or hate it, find out why, no tasting required!
If you’re at church that morning we will carpool from there, otherwise we will aim to be at Parallel 49 for 12:45. We’ll have lunch at the brewery, and begin the Free tour shortly after. Hope to see you there!
If you’re planning on coming or have any questions, please see Max or Kevin.
Annual Skating Party
Centennial Arena – White Rock
We’ll skate from 3-4 and hang out together from 4-5. Bring snacks to share (and puzzles and games if you’d like).
The junior youth are selling cookies this week after church. The money will go towards education for children through Himilayan Life.
