Here are some Advent activities at Southpoint:

Wednesday, Dec 3 Vision/Budget meeting, 6:30 pm @ Hardy’s (o.k. it’s not really about Advent but it is important!)

Friday, Dec 12 Southpoint Christmas Party, 6:30 pm @ the Simpson/Sears home (bring appys to share) No Southpoint Central this week.

Wednesday, Dec 24 Christmas Eve Gathering, 4:00pm to 5:00pm @ Hardy’s (songs, bread, wine, readings, kids included – except for the wine)

Also, we are not doing our own food/clothing drive but we encourage everyone to find ways to give to the community through existing programs. Check out Morgan Elementary and other schools and Peace Arch Community Services as local organizations to give through. If you wish to support people in need through Southpoint, you can always give to our Community Care Fund (make sure your envelope is clearly marked).
