Camping: No Gathering at Morgan

Aug 11, 2009
Chip?

A bunch of the Southpoint crew will be up at Golden Ears this weekend. Come join us at the Alouette Lake day use area (located before the campground entrance) around 11:15am on Sunday, August 16th for a simple worship time followed by a picnic lunch (bring your own food and bevies). The day use area is on the water so don’t forget to bring what you need to enjoy the beach (canoes, swimsuits, baptismal robes . . .).

This means that there will be no gathering at Morgan Elementary on Sunday, August 16th.

Directions (from the Discover Camping site):

“Golden Ears Provincial Park (and Alouette Lake) lies in the Coast Mountains 11 km north of Maple Ridge on the north side of the Fraser River. Access to the park is by vehicle via Highway 7 or Dewdney Trunk Road through the Municipality of Maple Ridge. If heading west, turn right onto 232nd and if heading east, turn left onto 232nd; then turn right onto Fern Crescent and follow road into park. The closest communities, towns and cities are Maple Ridge, Mission and Pitt Meadows.”
