Church Without Walls

For the next few weeks, the Church at Southpoint will be without walls, literally and figuratively.

September 1st (Labor Day Weekend):  The Leisure Center is not available on Sunday, so we will gather at Kingfisher Farm (512-172nd St., Surrey) instead.

• 9:00 – meet and then join a morning walk to beach for those interested.
• 10:30-12:00 – Open house at Anne and Craig’s. Drop in, have a hot drink, see our new space, and share your thoughts about how we can let “church” out of our mental boxes. (If you don’t feel like talking, you can write or draw your ideas on the boxes set up outside our house!) Weather permitting, there will be games in the garden – volleyball, croquet, frisbee, and a treasure hunt in the woods.

September 8th: Baptism Sunday
Again, we do not have use of the leisure centre so we will take this opportunity to have our service of baptism at Brooksdale in the Little Campbell River! Service will be followed by a community lunch.
